Yes, I am still here and I do plan to return to my writing journey!
It seems as if it has been forever since I have been able to even visit my own blog. Since I have been away from my blog and even writing in general for so long, I have missed the journey I had started on this blog more with each passing day. I especially miss the friendships I had started to build via this blog and my wonderful writing group through FaithWriters.
The past several months have brought a lot of changes into my life and times where I had to re-focus my energy onto the new task at hand, which was taking on the adventure of an unexpected, yet welcome, career change.
Through it all, I know that God is working, has a purpose for each step of the journey He leads me on, and is faithful, even when I have questions, doubts and become overwhelmed. (See what I feel is the theme song for this season of my life at the end of this post)
And my dear friends, in all honesty, I do covet your prayers as I seek the Lord's will in all I do. And please know that you are all in mine on a regular basis. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about you all and the impact you have had on my life as an aspiring writer.

Hi Rhonda, it's good to hear from you! I figured you were busy with life and your new career. There are times when it's necessary to take a step back from writing projects, but eventually, we will find time to return to them. Hope you had a great Easter. :-)
